Today actually feels more like a Saturday to me because it’s SENIOR SKIP DAY! Let the senior traditions begin!
My dad found a super great new breakfast spot nearby called JJ’s, so last Sunday we took a family trip to try it out. Everything was delicious and made with love; I already recommended it to so many friends! If you’re in the Brockton, MA area, I suggest a visit to see for yourself!
2. OCR season
With the return of warm weather, summer obstacle course races are beginning! I fell in love with OCRs only about 6 months ago, but since then have done a couple and have lots of them I’m signed up for this summer. Fun fact: the one this past weekend my Dad and I got lost on the trails and ended up running an extra 2 miles and coming in almost dead last but hey it’s fine.
3. Decision Day
Decision Day is officially May 1st, the day when colleges across the US require you to submit your deposit. I’ve been looking forward to this day since the beginning of senior year; I love that all my friends know where they are going next year! My very bestest friends are spreading out across BC, Brown, UVM, UMass, and the likes. Happy they all picked schools relatively close so I can make lots of visits! Psst, you can read about my specific college journey here!
4. Halfway done
Tennis season is absolutely flying by- we’ve already finished half of our matches! The official season ends in about 3 weeks, but I have a sneaky suspicion we will make it into tournament. Now the real question is, do I continue to play next year in college?!
