Out of all of the packages I’ve received in the mail these past couple of months for my dorm/school next year, none made me so excited as this planner. I used Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner last year and totally fell in love, so this year I was excited to dive right in with another! How cute is this navy and pink one?!
So on the inside cover of the Simplified Planners is this nifty little pocket, which I typically use to hold sticky notes, sticker sheets, and currently some paper clips. You can see that I finally put my Holy Cross sticker to good use on the inside cover! A thing to note for past SP users is the added sticker sheet built into the planner. I love the designs; I just wish there were more.
This is a sample page with both a weekday and a weekend page. At the start of every week I go through my Google calendar schedule and write in my activities on the hour-by-hour section of the weekday sheets, and the “My Day” section on the weekends. Then I look at how much extra time I have in each day, and write in things to accomplish on the to-do section accordingly!
Quite frankly my monthly spread is underused; I just have it to give me a big picture of events coming up. My Google calendar is much easier to use as a monthly spread.
What type of planner are you using for the upcoming school year?
